Happy!

I am alone again, but it was an awesome weekend! A. was here and we had a really good time and a lot of fun. She came here on Friday late in the evening, we just went home and I made dinner for her. We both were pretty done from the working week, didn't go out anymore and went rather early to bed.

The next morning we did not sleep that long somehow, but had then a lazy morning with a nice breakfast. We were just lazing around until noon and then decided to go out!We got some bikes and went through the city to the Vigelandsparken, a pretty big park here in the city with a lot of statues made by Gustav Vigeland. We were walking around among the masses of tourists and were looking at the sculptures. It was nice weather and got pretty warm. We sat down on the grass at a small hill and were enjoying the sun! After that we got us new bikes from the rental station and took the road down to the water. We were biking along the water to Aker Brygge and then to the Domkirke, where we left the bikes. From there we walked home and had a small snack for lunch.

In the afternoon we made a shopping list, went to the shop to buy some groceries and other things to bake. We were then spending the evening making and eating apple pie, which got delicious. It was just nice!Today we were having a lazy morning again, had nice breakfast and were enjoying the sun shining through my window into the room. We were super lucky this weekend. The weather was super good and we had nice autumn days, which were not too cold.

We eventually made our way downtown, where walking past Stortinget, Nationaltheatret and Rådhuset to Aker Brygge, where we got bikes. We rode along the water line to Bygdøy, a peninsula close to the city center. This area is the fanciest part of the city, with nice villas and a lot of nature. We were biking around the area and finally found a nice bench close to the water, where we stopped. There was a kiosk close by and A. got us two coffees, which we drank with the apple pie, we brought along. We were sitting there, enjoying the sun, the view and coffee & cake. It was such a Sunday feeling. We then were biking with a detour over the peninsula back to town. We left the bikes at Aker Brygge and walked back home. On the way we were passing Akershus Festning and Gamle Rådhus and I showed A. where I work.

The afternoon we were spending here in my flat, having really early dinner and relaxing. Shortly before we had to go to the train station we still went for a walk through Fredensborg, the area I am living in. There are some really old and cute houses around and it is nice to walk there. After the walk we quickly returned home to pick up A's stuff and went slowly down to the train station. I just brought A. to the Flytoget, since going to the airport and back would have been too expensive. It was weird to see her stepping onto the train, but at least I know that we are going to see each other in two weeks again!~M~
